The tubes i, j, are releasably coupled by a spring o. A flyer g has a part v which rides on a friction pad w of a hub s fixed to the tube i, which also carries a tensioning device h. There is an oiling device m for a roller bearing n between the spindle a and a stationary spindle c carrying the package.
