874,972. Agricultural implements. LIGHT, H. H. Oct. 13. 1958, No. 32650/58. Class 6(1). [Also in Group XXII] A disc tool for an implement is formed by slitting a circular disc 1 radially from opposite ends of a diameter and bending the material to form two substantially helical blade portions. As shown in Fig. 3, two blades are mounted on a rotatable shaft 5, the helical portions of the blades of the two discs being of opposite hands the cutting edges of one disc being displaced 90 degrees from the corresponding cutting edges of the other blade. Each blade is secured to the shaft by means of a bolt 4, a peg 7 on the blade engaging in a hole in a flange 9 of the shaft. The shaft 5 is driven by a shaft, at right angles to the shaft 5, driven from a motor on a hand propelled wheeled chassis.
