869,608. Cabinets. MASON & SONS Ltd., E. N. April 1, 1958 [May 3, 1957], No. 14246/57. Class 52(1). A sheet metal cabinet has back and side panels 1, 2 with interfitting margins 10, 11, the top and bottom panels having depending flanges seated in recesses formed by joggled strips 4, 15. Upper and lower front rails are secured by tongued connections to the flanged edges 12 of the side panels and receive the pintles of the door hinges. The rails preferably consist of a channel 21, Fig. 4 covered by a sprung-on capping channel 24. Shelves may be mounted on struck-out lugs 8 as in Specification 869,609.
