Abstract

A thermoplastic polymeric composition comprises a polymer of an ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon or halo-hydrocarbon or a copolymer comprising at least 80% by weight thereof, and a condensation product of an alkanolamine and an alkylene oxide, or a salt, ester or ether of such a condensation product. The condensation product is particularly used in 0,1 to 10% by weight of the composition and has the effect of reducing the tendency to accumulate electrostatic charges. Polymers specified are those derived from styrene, vinyl chloride, ethylene, propylene and mixtures thereof.
