Class 87(1) [Also in Group XXII] A metal floor tile for bedding into concrete has a plurality of downwardly sloping tangs 4 formed from the face portion 1 by shearing and downwardly displaying part of the metal thereof, each of said tangs being tapered to be wider near its lower end than near its upper end and each of the tangs being swaged to have a central longitudinal deformation 7 to stiffen them. Marginal flanges 2 depend from at least some edges of the face portion and may be provided with inwardly disposed tangs 8 which may be hook shaped.
