Abstract

864,002. Seats &c. fixing in rows. NEETA Ltd. Nov. 16, 1959 [Nov. 18, 1958], No. 37097/58. Class 52(2). In stacking chairs which may be fixed together in rows each chair has leg frames 1 of inverted U-shape connected by cross bars 2 supporting a seat 3 and limbs 4 carrying a back rest 5 and one frame member carries a U-shaped wire loop 6 to engage a U-shaped wire hook 7 carried by the opposite frame member of a neighbouring chair. In a modification Fig. 4 one frame member is wider than the other and cross-bars 2 form loops 6, 7 which are interengageable. In another modification not shown one frame member has a stud to engage a bayonet slot in the other frame. Specification 828,246 is referred to.
