852,807. Bracelets. RODI & WIENENBERGER A; G. Aug. 5, 1959 [Sept. 19, 1958], No. 26709/59. Class 43 An expansible link strap comprises box links placed crosswise of the strap and provided along their sides with slots 2 through which the halves of divided intermediate links extend from one box link to the adjacent box link, the intermediate links having V-shaped sliding edges 3<SP>2</SP>, 4<SP>2</SP> facing opposite edges of the strap and urged by springs 9 into contact with the ends of the slots of the box links, characterised in that the intermediate links consist of two sleeves 3, 4 which are adapted to be telescoped against spring resistance transversely of the strap, and which, towards the edges of the strap, have open ends into which project retaining extensions 10 from the side walls of the box links for retaining the intermediate links by intercepting the side walls of the sleeves when fully withdrawn from the box links. Abutments 8 stamped from the side walls of the sleeves retain the ends of leaf springs 9. Instead of leaf springs helical or other compression springs may be retained between transverse end walls of the sleeves. One of the sleeves has a reduced sleevelike extension 5 which is slidable within the other sleeve until the edges of the sleeves meet.
