Class 141 [Also in Group XVII] A synthetic thermoplastic welt 6 for connecting adjacent edges of suitcase walls made from a similar material comprises a tubular beading 7 slotted at 8 and provided with flanges 9, 10 to which the walls are secured by heatsealing. In a modification, the beading has a single flange to opposite surfaces of which the walls are welded.
