Abstract
850,030. Centrifugal separators. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Jan. 23, 1959 [Jan. 28, 1958], No. 2790/58. Class 23 [Also in Group XXXIV] In a lubricating system of an internal combustion engine, a centrifuging drum 4 is secured to the casing 3 of a vibration damper mounted on the end of a crankshaft 1. Oil is supplied by a pipe 5 and, after being centrifuged in the drum, purified oil runs over the inner edge 6 of the drum.
