Abstract

858,821. Surgical bandage applicators. VERNON & CO. Ltd. July 9, 1959 [July 29, 1958], No. 24315/58. Class 81 (2) [Also in Groups XXVIII and XXXII]. A tubular bandage applicator comprises a substantially imperforate open-ended tapering or cylindrical tube of pliable synthetic plastic or other pliable non-metallic material. The tube, which may be made of polyethylene, is thickened at both ends B, G, the thickening at one end having a circumferential groove to facilitate cutting the bandage. The tube may have low circumferential ridges to assist in locating the bandage upon it.
