Class 20(3) [Also in Group VIII] An adhesive sealing tape for windows, of layers of uncured natural, butyl, or neoprene rubber, or other elastomeric material has a reinforcement of unwoven fabric comprising warp yarns 14, Fig. 3, aligned with the tape and weft yarns 15 at right angles thereto, the yarns being secured at their crossing points with weak adhesive, e.g. polyvinyl acetate, such that the joints break when the tape is bent as shown and prevent distortion of the tape. The tape may be used to seal two abutting edges of window glass or may be applied around or on either side of the edges of glass secured in a frame.' Alternatively, Fig. 7, tape 39 may be placed on one or both sides of the glass 38 in a frame 33, the remaining space being filled with sealing composition 40. The frame may have a detachable edge portion 34 secured for example by screws 35.
