854,186. Infant's feeding devices. HARLE, G. J. L. Nov. 22, 1957 [March 26, 1957; May 18, 1957], No. 36461/57. Class 66. A teat for use with an infant's feeding bottle has two or more slits forming an outlet for liquid in the bottle, index marks being provided which enable the teat to be rotated in the infant's mouth in order to adjust the rate of flow through the slits. The slits may be slanted, Fig. 4 (not shown), or curved, Fig. 5 (not shown). The index marks may be on the teat or on a collar attachment for the teat, Fig. 7 (not shown), or on the bottle, Fig. 6, in which case arrows 21, 23 are employed to relate the teat slit to the index marks.
