840,067. Stapling. GRYMAK Ltd. Jan. 29, 1959 [Feb. 4, 1958], No. 3601/58. Class 89(3) A stapling-appliance of the kind having the general form of a pistol, through the nose 12, Fig. 1, of which, staples are projected along a guideway 13 by a blade, comprises a cover-plate for the guideway in two parts 14, 15. Part 14, Fig. 2A, has a recess to receive part 15 and holes 17 engaged by enlargements 16a of screws 16, which project from nose 12. Part 15 has keyhole or like slots 18 in wedge-sectioned-recesses 20, and is assembled to part 14 by a screw 21. In use, the plate is assembled over screws 16 with the larger-ends of slots 18 aligned therewith. Then part 15 is moved laterally to engage the smaller-ends of the slots in the necks 16b of the screws, the wedge-recesses increasing the clamping- pressure.
