Abstract
849,432. Reservoir pens. ZYCHLINSKI, B.v. Aug. 20, 1957 [Aug. 21, 1956], No. 26230/57. Class 146(3). [Also in Group XXXVI] The writing tip 1 which retains a steel writing ball 4 is made of brass and machined from a solid bar, and the ball seating 6 is coated in an electrolytic bath (see Group XXXVI) first with a soft metal such as copper or a noble metal, and is given a second coating of one of these metals. A third metal coating of copper, silver or gold may be applied. The second and third coatings may have each a thickness of about ten microns. The ball housing has an annular reservoir space 5, and the ball seating 6 has ink supply ducts formed therein.
