848,308. Pleated skirts. DESSIMOND, J. Feb. 13, 1959 [Feb. 14, 1958], No. 5012/59. Class 141 A pleated skirt consists of two parts 3, 4 secured together in overlapping relationship with the pleats interengaged, the parts being secured by stitching 5 or adhesive means. By removing the stitching &c. and adjusting the amount of overlap, the skirt length may be altered. The two parts 3, 4 may differ in colour or in the nature of the fabric, and one part may be cut with the weave straight and the other on the bias.
