Abstract

847,976. Wheeled parcel carriers. TYLER REFRIGERATION CORPORATION. Sept. 2, 1958, No. 28187/58. Class 108(1). A wheeled parcel carrier which may be. nested with similar carriers comprises an upper basket 11 provided with a hinged rear wall 39, a lower frame 34 pivoted forwardly in journal brackets 37 fixed to a transverse wheel supporting member 21, a basket 42 mounted to slide rearwardly on the frame 34 to facilitate unloading, a torsion spring 36 which inclines the frame 34 and basket 42 upwardly and rearwardly until a cross rod 27 contacts the frame members 19, and a U-shaped handle 12 having its ends 15 telescopically secured in side tubes 13. When the basket 42 is loaded it pivots down to a horizontal position where the rod 27 contacts the frame 14.
