Abstract
846,697. Dough-sheeting machines. SEEWER, G. A. May 12, 1959 [May 14, 1958 ; April 15, 1959], No. 16201/59. Class 87(2). A dough sheeting machine with upper and lower sheeting rollers 3, 4 has belt conveyers 7, 8, for feeding and removing dough, passing round drive rolls 5, 6 parallel to the lower roller 4, the gaps being bridged by stripping blades 9, 10. The blades 9, 10 are fixed to sheet metal supports 11, 12 either by screws or rivets (11) or by a dovetail joint 10a, (12) and the supports have lugs 15 urged downwards by a spring bar 16 to press the blades 9, 10 against the lower roller. The spring bar may be mounted at its ends by screw adjustment means to provide an adjustable gap between the blades 9, 10 and the conveyer belts 7, 8.
