Abstract

844,116. Brushes. KLEEN-E-ZE BRUSH CO. Ltd. April 10, 1959 [June 13, 1958], No. 19081/58. Class 19. [Also in Group XXVIII] The bullet brush consists of a helically wound wire core 2 on which is so wound a resilient strip 4 that there is formed on the core a succession of pairs of loops of which each loop is slightly angularly displaced in relation to the next adjacent loop so that the loops form a double start helix about the axis of the core. Metal washers 8 are secured to either end of the core, and a soft cupping washer 12 is associated with one of the washers 8. The strip 4 is of O or rectangular section and is wound with a flat face outermost.
