831,598. Securing elements to shafts. MURPHY RADIO Ltd. April 5, 1956 [April 5, 1955], No. 9936/55. Class 80 (2). An operating knob 11 is secured to a control spindle 3 of radio apparatus through the intermediary of an insulating sleeve 6 having a non-circular portion fitting over a corresponding portion of the spindle and in a non-circular recess 12 in the knob. A spring 14 is arranged in a further recess 13 in the knob and bears against the sleeve 6 to retain the knob frictionally thereon. The sleeve 6 has a flange 9 to prevent it passing through the opening 2 in a wall 1.
