830,148. Hot-water boilers. SCHWORER, E. Dec. 24, 1956 [Dec. 31, 1955], No. 39217/56. Class 64(1) [Also in Group XII] A hot water boiler having a main combustion chamber 2 for solid or gaseous fuel, and an upper auxiliary chamber in which a liquid fuel burner is mounted (see Group XII) has one boiler forming a waterjacket 8 for the main combustion chamber 2 and an inner waterjacket 22 for the auxiliary chamber, and a second boiler 13 forming an outer jacket for the auxiliary chamber. Flues 35 within the waterjacket 8 lead the gases to the chimney outlet 10. An outlet 16 for the hot water from the jacket 8 may lead to central heating radiators. The outer waterjacket is traversed by circulation pipes 23 connected to the inner jacket 22. Auxiliary electric heating elements may be inserted in the boiler 22.
