Abstract

838,987. Transistors. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Sept. 10, 1958 [Sept. 13, 1957], No. 28956/57. Addition to 809,071. Class 37. A transistor as claimed in the parent Specification has the base lead 14 connected to the cylindrical part 13 of the metallic envelope which bears against the base electrode 6, while the emitter and base leads 11 and 12 are sealed through the other end of the envelope. The arrangement facilitates employment of the transistor in printed circuits.
