Abstract
838,399. Automatic circuit-breakers. DORMAN & SMITH Ltd. June 12, 1958 [June 12, 1957], No. 18467/57. Class 38 (5). In a circuit-breaker, such as that of Specification 784,006, having bimetallic and electromagnetic overload tripping devices, the core 17 of the electromagnet is mounted on the bimetallic element 9 by means of a coil 16 which surrounds both the core and the element and acts as a heater for the element and as the energizing coil for the core.
