Class 116 A cash receiving tray 2, having fixed coin bowls 4 and a note compartment 5, is provided with a removable coin bowl unit A having side walls 10 extending below the base of the coin bowls 9 such that when the unit is in position in the compartment 8 in the tray, a space is provided beneath the bowls 9 to accommodate bank notes. When the unit A is removed, the compartment 8 provides an additional note compartment.
