Abstract

838,198. Suspending cables. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L.M. ERICSSON. Aug. 7, 1958 [Aug. 22, 1957], No. 25411/58. Addition to 659,584. Class 36. [Also in Group XXV] In a fastener as in the parent Specification for suspended wires and cables, the middle support 4 has a convex surface which alters the direction of the portion 41 of the wire following the surface by at least 180 degrees. The wire is wound on fastener so that successive portions 43, 32, 41, 31, 42 pass respectively over the support 4, around the support 3, around the support 4, back around the support 3 and over the support 4. The portion 42 is sandwiched between the portions 41, 43 and the portion 31 is pressed against the support 3 by the portion 32.
