837,844. Electric watches. HAMILTON WATCH CO. April 11, 1957 [Dec. 31, 1956], No. 20346/59. Divided out of 837,843. Class 139 In an electric watch the balance 144, Fig. 1, is maintained in oscillation by the interaction of a coil 154 fixed to the balance and two magnetic fields produced by the poles 160, 162 of an electromagnet 158 and a shunt member 170. The electromagnet and the coil are simultaneously energized to provide the maintaining pulses. The magnetic fields may be provided by two separate electromagnets 202, Fig. 4.
