836,636. Racks. BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CONSTRUCTION CO. Ltd. Sept. 5, 1958 [June 6, 1957], No. 18033/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 52(5) [Also in Groups XXV and XXXVI] A cable rack comprises a base for attachment to a wall, having on its free face projecting cable supports, the rack being made of a setting synthetic resin reinforced with fibre and/or powder and being associated with one or more fixing pins or dowels of corrosion resistant non- metallic material each passing through an aperture in the rack. The resin may be an epoxide or polyester resin, the fibrous material is preferably glass or asbestos and the powder may be silica or slate. The rack may be moulded in a two-part mould. The dowels may beof resin-bonded glass fibres, or headed pins of hard p.v.c. driven into tubes of resin-bonded rubber located in apertures in the wall may be used. Alternatively tubes of resin-bonded glass fibres may be cemented into apertures and these, or solid dowels, may be glued into the apertures in the rack, preferably being set at an angle into the wall.
