Abstract
835,339. Woven fabrics; pile fabrics: mixture yarns. MILLER LUBRICATOR CO. Nov. 27, 1957 [Nov. 28, 1956], No. 36964/57. Classes 120(3) and 142(4) [Also in Group XXXIV] In, a fabric for the lubricating pads of bearings (see Group XXXIV) yarns 86, Fig. 16, form pile loops 84 on part of the fabric and form warp floats 80 on another part; the yarns are woollen - spun from a blend of 85% 3 denier regenerated protein fibre and 15% wool with 91/3 t.p.i. S-twist, two singles being doubled with 5 t.p.i. Z-twist. Wool yarns 88 running alongside some of the ground warp threads may be present. As shown in Fig. 19, yarns 146 consisting of continuous filament nylon-6 with a knitted or other covering of wool, or plied yarns of nylon-6, wool, and regenerated protein, are included in a fabric having ground warp and weft of wool yarns which may be crocheted. Specifications 810,924 and 821,453 are referred to.
