Abstract
822,189. Wire terminals. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. July 3, 1957 [July 3, 1956], No. 20644/56. Class 38 (1). A braided lead 18 is secured to a terminal 10 having an internally threaded socket 14 brazed into sleeves 12, 13 therein by slipping a rubber, synthetic rubber or P.T.F.E. sleeve 19 over the lead so that an end portion of the lead projects from it, inserting the lead 18 and sleeve 19 into socket 14, crimping that part of the socket lying between sleeves 12, 13 on to sleeve 19 and soldering the projecting end 21 which passes through socket wall 16 to said wall.
