827,081. Reciprocating pumps. HANLON, P. G. Sept. 13, 1956, No. 28038/56. Class 102(1). A liquid container 12 including a follower plate 20 is supported on a base 4 attached to a wall and communicates with a cylinder bore 24 in the base through a port 26. A plunger 47 slidable in the bore 24 is arranged to close the port 26 and force liquid through a ball valve 34 and a duct 49 to an outlet 52. A sleeve 39, screwed into the bore 24 provides an abutment for a spring 55 the other end of which abuts a sleeve 56 surrounding a piston rod 46 having a knob 44 screwed thereon.
