Abstract

813,668. Sponge mops. BLUM, J. July 17, 1957, No. 22632/57. Class 19. A tubular handle 1 is screwed in a resilient hollow body 8 that is forcibly inserted into a cavity extending inwards from one wall of a cubical sponge 7. Ports in the body 8 allow of cleaning liquid delivered through the handle to within the body to pass to the sponge. The body 8 has indented and chamfered side edges that facilitate insertion into and gripping by the sponge.
