Abstract
813,127. Snap-action switches. SANTON Ltd., July 29, 1957 [April 30, 1956], No. 13128/56. Class 38 (5). A rotary switch assembly comprises a primary switch 6 mounted coaxially with a secondary switch 7, both switches being oper. ated simultaneously. Normally, contacts 8, 12 of the primary switch are closed and contacts 9, 10 of the secondary switch are open. The latter contacts are offset in relation to those of the primary switch so that just before one set of contacts 8, 12 open, contacts 9, 10 are closed and remain closed until the next set of contacts 8, 12 are closed, thereby preventing an open circuit when changing over from a load 14 to 15, or vice versa.
