810,800. Spades. WILKINSON SWORD Ltd., and RANDOLPH, H. B. June 22. 1955 [March 26, 1954], No.8896/56. Class 6(2). A spade blade 12 comprises a working edge 12d inclined to the sides of the blade and is integral with the stirrup 12a whereby foot pressure may be executed at the centre of the upper edge 12c of the blade. The portion 12e of the spade is hollow ground and the working edge may be made self sharpening by treating the blade so that its front face is harder than the rear one.
