Abstract

810,784. Lamp-holders. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Oct. 8, 1956 [Oct. 10, 1955], No. 30675/56. Class 38 (1). In a lamp-holder comprising a cup-shaped insulating casing 18 having mounted in its open end a lamp-retaining shell 24 having fingers 30 adapted for snap-fastener engagement with an aperture 12 in a panel, contact between the shell and a spring 34 in the rear of the housing is prevented by an insulating member 36 which shrouds the forward end of the spring and carries a contact button 48 which, together with member 36 is biased by the spring towards the open end of the housing. Tongues 42 on the shell limit the forward movement of member 36.
