Abstract
819,538. Fluid-pressure servomotor control systems. SUNUIC CONTROLS Ltd. Oct. 16, 1957 [Nov. 1, 1956], No. 33393/56. Class 135. [Also in Group XIX] A lever 4, coupled to the diaphragm of a differential pressure gauge, Group XIX, is acted on by a fluid pressure servomotor system to maintain its position substantially constant. Air is fed under pressure to both a nozzle 14 close to the lever 4, and to a bellows 16 acting on a second lever 17, which thus applies an opposing force F to the lever 4 at Q. When steady, the pressure P 3 in the bellows 16 is proportional to the pressure difference being measured, and is transmitted by line 18 as an output signal. The position of Q may be made variable along the lever 4 and a dash-pot 19 may damp oscillation of the lever 4.
