Abstract

818,976. Endless track vehicles. HULLE, K. Nov. 6, 1957, No. 34621/57. Class 79(1) An endless track unit adapted for attachment to a vehicle brake drum 5, Fig. 4, comprises a fraune plate 13 bolted to an inner sleeve 12 of a bearing 10 which has an outer flanged sleeve 1 with apertures 2 for engagement over the studs 4 of the brake drum 5. A large opening 15 in the plate 13 permits access to the wheel nuts 3. The outer sleeve 1 carries a chain wheel 8 having teeth 7 for driving engagement with the track 9. An inner flanged plate 20 welded to the plate 13 through intermeditate spacing plates 21, Fig. 1, and bolts 22 supports the inner ends of the shafts 24, 25 for the guide wheels 17 and support rollers 18.
