Abstract

The tendency of articles made from polyethylene to adhere to each other is reduced by incorporating in the polyethylene a minor proportion by weight of methylene distearamide. Agents to reduce the coefficient of friction and slip characteristics may also be present, e.g. oleamide or a polyethylene oxide condensate. The polyethylene composition may be made into films, sheets, rods or tubes, or employed as a coating composition.
