818,573. Building blocks; walls. STEULERINDUSTRIEWERKE G.m.b.H. Feb. 1, 1957 [April 9, 1956], No. 3622/57. Classes 20(4) and 87(1) In a building block comprising a main portion a with a rabbeted portion b along one side, an aperture 2<SP>1</SP> of hour-glass crosssection and recesses 1<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>1</SP> each equivalent to half the aperture are provided along the juction of the portions a, b. The blocks are assembled in staggered relationship to form a wall and are connected by key blocks 8<SP>1</SP>-10<SP>1</SP> inserted in the apertures and corresponding recesses. The side faces 4, 5 of the block are curved as in Fig. 4, and additional apertures 11, 12 are provided in the main portion a. The adjacent surfaces of the two portions a, b are glazed.
