Class 52(2) A folding chair with a rectangular frame having side members 1, constituting the front legs and supporting the back and a seat 4 mounted on side members 6, formed with slots 7 engaging pivot pins 8 secured to members 1 has the seat also pivoted to struts 9 pivoted in turn to members 1 and the back legs of the chair are constituted by a pair of struts 13 pivoted to members 1 and slotted side members 15 pivoted to the struts 13 and engaging pivot pins 16 on members 1. To facilitate stacking the folded chairs side members 1 are convex on the front and concave on the back so that the parts on adjacent chairs interfit. Specification 607,262 is referred to.
