803,658. Pipe-cutting lathes. AETNASTANDARD ENGINEERING CO. Oct. 18, 1955 [May 16, 1955], No. 18818/57. Divided out of 803,657. Drawings to Specification. Class 83 (3). A pipe-cutting machine comprises a cutterhead, a conveyer for moving a pipe or tube and positioning an end thereof within the cutterhead, the latter embodying a main tube-clamp and having a number of cutting-tools, and means for rotating and advancing the tools to sever the pipe or tube, a crop-end clamp being arranged on the opposite side of the tools to the maintube-clamp and adapted to hold the end of the pipe to be severed. The machine is fully described in Specification 803,657.
