Abstract

803,223. Spray-producers. NOLA., A. J. DE. Aug. 3, 1955 [Nov. 15, 1954], No. 22361/55. Class 69 (3). Mortar or other pasty material passes into a conduit 3 from a hopper 1 and is sprayed from a nozzle 9 by compressed air from a nozzle 7. A second air supply flows through a duct 13 and channels 14, 14a, 14b to a space 10 about the nozzle 9 and further sub-divides the material which is finally ejected from a diffuser 11. The pipe 5 which feeds the nozzle 7 is axially adjustable and is secured by a screw 8. The diffuser is also adjustably mounted and is secured by a locknut 12. Alternatively the conduit 3 may open into a space 10 provided with two or more diffusers and associated nozzles 7 and 9. In a further embodiment two or more conduits 3 each with a nozzle and diffuser arrangement are associated with one hopper.
