803,170. Angular bending. LA ROCHE, P. F. April 9, 1957 [April 9, 1956], No. 10798/56. Class 83 (4). A hand-operated pipe-bending machine comprises a base 10, for attachment to a bench or stand, having an exchangeable bending former 14 secured to one face and provided on its opposite face with fixing legs 12 or the like adapted to space it from the bench or stand and a bifurcated body member 13 embracing the bending former 14 and the base 10 and having an operating handle 15. The body member 13 is formed with a series of holes 17, lying in the longitudinal axis of the operating handle 15 in any of which a guide roller 21 or a pressure roller may be mounted, and is provided with a forwardly-projecting nose 18 formed with bores 19 providing alternative seatings for a pin 22 passed through the centre of a pressure roller 23 used in bending heavy gauge tubing.
