Abstract
An austenitic spheroidal-graphite cast iron has a composition within the following range of proportions in per cent by weight, C 2.2-3.3, Si 1.0-3.3, P less than 0.5, S less than 0.1, Mg 0.02-0.1, Ni 10.0-17.0, Mn 2.5-7.0, Cu 0.8-3.0, Fe the balance. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 630,070.
