Abstract
800,156. Hay-making. MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR AKT.-GES. Dec. 16, 1955 [Jan. 3, 1955], No. 36095/55. Class 6(3). In a hay-making machine, of the kind wherein a series of double-teeth 3 are secured along a common carrier bar 4 by means of clamps 5, the bar is deformed at the points corresponding to the tooth-positions to provide seatings for the teeth. The bar may be tubular and of round or oval section and is dimpled at intervals to receive the straight portions or legs of the eyes 1 of spring-tines 3. The clamps each include a wedge-part 7 which secures the clamp against the bar, and a bridge 9 which clamps the tines against the bar.
