809,192. Spinning &c. machine building motions. NAZIONALE COGNE S. p. A. April 29, 1955 [April 30, 1954], No. 12536/55. Class 120(2) A spinning, twisting or like machine with a reciprocating thread guide has the spindles lowered by mechanism operating in conjunction with the thread guide and including an adjustable stop member and a unidirectional drive arrangement. Alternatively instead of lowering the spindles, the thread guide may receive an additional movement. A sleeve 3 slidable on a rod 4 under the influence of the thread guide 2 lifts a manually adjustable knob 5 when making its upward stroke thereby raising a rack 6 to rotate a free wheel gear 7 and, through gears 9, a screwed shaft 10 on which is threadedly mounted a member 11 carrying the spindles
