An adjustable feed device for machine tools comprises a driving shaft 12 carrying a wheel having an endless eccentric cam groove 1 therein engaged by a roller 2 on the end of an arm 3, the other end O1 of which is adjustable about a rockshaft 7a, by turning a hand-knob 10, acting through a worm and sector 9 on an arm 7 carrying the pivot O1. A driving arm 4, also pivoted on the roller 2, is connected to a lever 5, pivoted at 6 and engaged through gearing 11a and a ratchet with the driven shaft 11. The angular oscillations imparted to the lever 5 may be varied from zero by moving the pivot point O1 of the arm 3.
