806,373. Thrust bearings. FORD MOTO.R CO. Ltd., and PHILLIPS, G. A. Nov. 12, 1956 [Nov. 30, 1955], No. 34304/55. Class 12 (1). A crank-shaft bearing comprises a pair of thrust washers 6, each of which is slotted to enable it to pass over the crank-shaft 1. The washers are housed in recesses in the block 2 and bearing cap 4 and locking tongues are provided to prevent rotation of the washers with the crank-shaft.
