805,475. Paint-trays. LENG, A.S. Feb. 20, 1957 [March 7, 1956], No. 7114/56. Class 66. A paint-tray a is shaped to provide a well a<SP>1</SP> at one end and contains a grid b having feet b<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP>, which support it within the tray spaced from the bottom, the grid having a plurality of sinuous cross-members b<SP>4</SP> against which the brush can be wiped. The tray is provided with a wire support d having a hook-like end d<SP>1</SP>, the support being pivoted to the tray by wing-nuts e and being capable of supporting the tray on a horizontal surface, Fig. 1, or against the rungs of a ladder, Fig. 3, the well having an overhanging lip a<SP>2</SP> to prevent spillage of paint in the latter position.
