Abstract

796,886. Centrifugal separators. JORDAN. W. Sept. 19, 1955 [Jan. 20, 1955], No. 26742/55. Class 23 Apparatus for separating gas from liquid comprises a cylindrical tank 1, an inlet 8 tangential to the tank, axial outlets 2, ,11 for gas and air respectively, and a conical baffle 9 above the outlet 11. The baffle is supported on curved vanes 10. A float controlled valve 5 prevents discharge of liquid with the gas.
