795,603. Electrostatic precipitation. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN. Oct. 19, 1956 [Oct. 24, 1955], No. 31916/56. Class 39(1). In an electrostatic precipitator with a hammer or hammers 1a for the discharge electrodes carried by a rotating axle 1 which is driven by a mechanism 3, the axle includes an insulator shaft 4 housed within a chamber 5 and kept clean by a conveyer in the form of a scraper, e.g., a screw worm 6, which is driven by the mechanism 3. The dust accumulating in the chamber 5 is transported to the outlet opening 7. A heater 8, e.g., an electric heater, is also provided.
