Abstract
787,839. Textile drawing-in frames. ASPINALL, A. E., and HOLROYD, C. R. March 29, 1954 [March 27, 1.953], No. 8494/53. Class 142(1) A drawing-in frame, for use with an automatic readher-in which travels across the frame and selects the warp threads, is pivoted so that it can be swung from a vertical position to a substantially horizontal position (Fig. 3), in which stopmotion droppers can be moved to the rear of the frame and a lease struck with the warp threads. The frame 5, pivoted at 2, has clamps 13, 25, for the warp, the clamp 13 being adjustable along a slot 9 in an arm 7 by a handle 17 and links 19, 21, and the clamp 25 being adjusted by screws 27. A screw 27 is provided at each side of the frame and may be adjusted independently or may be connected by gearing. A handle 39, links 35, 37 and a ratchet 41, 43 are provided for swinging the frame. Warp stop motion droppers 51 are moved to the rear against the clamp 13 when the warp is substantially horizontal.
